THE DIALOGUE SCENE

Common to all genres of film and TV, the dialogue scene is an integral tool for telling your story.

1  Wide Shot

establishes where characters are in relation to each other

2  Medium Shot

keep characters in same line of vision as first shot

3  Close-up Shots

Characters speaking lines or reacting.  Use Over-the-Shoulder shots.
