The banjo or the balafon, the mbira or the morin khuur, music is the universal expression of humanity. 

 

The language of the soul communicates what words cannot.  The building and playing of musical instruments can be found in every corner of the planet.  From India to the United States, Argentina to Mongolia, Ireland to Mali, musical instruments give sound to who we are as individuals, and a group. The instruments found throughout the world are as diverse as its people.  Music is the sound of culture.
